He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vern Cockrum and Marion Cockrum (Amundson); his wife Lodema Cockrum of Osage; his children, Kevin Cockrum (Lynne) of San Antonio, Karla Lane of Osage and Keith Cockrum (Lisa) of Osage; his grandchildren, Amber Cockrum, Becca Lucker (Jill), CJ Lane, Andy Lane (Ashley), Ross Cockrum and Joe Cockrum (Courtney); his siblings, Gary Cockrum (Lavonne) of Osage, Connie Eagen (Ken) of Osage, Alice Oswold (Charlie) of Muscatine and Dean Cockrum (LuAnn) of Osage; his parents-in-law, Arno and Hazel Ball; and his sister-in-law Donita Johnson (Clyde). He was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
Due to government regulations regarding the coronavirus, private family graveside services will be held at Rock Creek Cemetery with Pastor David A. Werges officiating.
