She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Arickx and Ray Sr. Arickx; her in-laws, Leo and Charlotte Comisky; her husbands, Maurice Comisky and Elmer Schonrock; her brothers, Ray Arickx Jr. (Carol), Chuck Arickx and Donald Arickx Sr. (Wendy); and her siblings-in-law, Merwin "Irish" Comisky, Harold "Hites" Comisky, Marlow Comisky (Kay), Gary Shepard, Mary Larson (Melbourne), Maureen Brooker (Dean), Kathleen Laker (Gerald) and Margaret Comisky.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Tauke (Paul) of DeSoto, IA, Deanna Gard (Jerry) of Algonquin, IL, James Comisky (Kimberly) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Jason Comisky (Christy) of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Joseph, Andrew, Leo Tauke, Cait Schultes, Ian, Ayana, Olivia Gard, TJ Comisky and Amanda Pitts; her great grandchildren, Daisy, Cora, Callahan, Marlowe, Coleman, Oliver, Jackson, Elliott, Warren and Cami; her brother Mark Arickx of Osage, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Leone Shepard of Norwalk, Dorothy "Doke" Kruse (Clarence) of Osage, Deb Arickx of Nebraska, Della Cordle (Gene) of Osage and Gary "Mick" Comisky of Osage. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Osage (1203 State St, Osage, IA 50461). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1203 State St, Osage, IA 50461).
