It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Duren (Osage, Iowa), who passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janice Duren to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Hernan and Nadine Hernan (Loden); and her daughter Debra Ann Pederson. She is survived by: her children, Julie Gabby (Ken) of Byron, Vicki Johnson (Steve) of Osage, Marlin Duren (Kelli) of Osage and John Duren (Mari) of Tempe, Arizona; her grandchildren, Aaron, Jeremy Gabby, Dillon, Tristan Johnson, Jacob and Zachary Duren; her great grandchild Gage Gabby; and her brothers, Montel Hernan (Kay) of Osage and Neil Hernan (Terri) of St. Ansgar. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will hold a public celebration of her life at a later date.
