He is survived by: his wife Cherie; his children, Christy Willis (Josh) of Johnston, Shawn Newhouse (Alison) of Johnston and Faisal Fathi (Mary) of Hayward, California; his grandchildren, Brooke Willis, Brady Willis, Payton Newhouse, Cole Newhouse, Noah Newhouse, Raheem Fathi, Rasool Fathi and Rashad Fathi; his sister Cathy Simon of Osage, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Julie Ackley of Osage and Rita Jo Merritt of Sierra Vista, Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
