She was predeceased by: her parents, Alban Hemann and Kathren Hemann (Becker); her husband Bernard; her siblings, Vincent Hemann, Eugene Hemann, Gervase Hemann, Viola Hemann and Evelyn Landherr; and her daughter-in-law Janet Spitz.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Spitz (Carol Smith) of Osage, William Spitz (Lori) of Osage, Robert Spitz (Erika) of Osage, Debra Pasek (Gary) of Chicago, James Spitz (Mary) of Osage and Joseph Spitz (Janice) of Chicago; her grandchildren, Melissa, Sarah, Derek, Alyson, Rebecca, Jerad, Autumn, Garret, Nathen, Wyatt, Taylor, Jakob and Victoria; her great grandchildren, Parker, Benjamin, Paisley, Falynn, Adalynn, Grey and Westyn; and her siblings, Sally Michels of Austin and Clem Hemann of Osage.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa or the Mitchell County Food Bank.
