He is survived by: his wife Shirly Olson (Martin) of Osage; his daughter Lisa Thompson (Brian); his granddaughter Emily Harkopp of Mason City; his great grandchild Chantelle; and his son Anthony Weil (Tony) of Missouri.
George attributed eating pickled herring for keeping him alive during Covid-19.
