He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Kluender and Anne Kluender (Eggena); his wife Mary Anne; and his sister-in-law Donna Eggena. He is survived by: his son Gary Kluender Jr. (Tracy Funte); his grandchildren, Brett Kluender (Brittany) and Arianna Kluender; his great grandchildren, Emmilie, Serenity, Easton and Zayn; his brother Daryl Kluender; and his nieces and nephews, Sue Wilson, Katie Wood (Kluender), Brian Perrin and Vernon Kluender.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1921 317th St, Osage, IA 50461).
