It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Merilynne Mitchell (Osage, Iowa), born in Buffalo, Iowa, who passed away on June 5, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Russ and Lois Russ; and her brother Walter. She is survived by: her children, Becky Lynne (Henry), Stacy Lorelei (Gilbert), Eric Michael (Tammy) and Sonya Mortell (Kevin); her grandchildren, Brooke Hudson (Bobby Johnson), Christopher Littlefield, Mandy Schultz (Travis), Nancy Schrupp (Zach), Nico Laborin, Noelle Santos (Juan), Melissa Berringer (Ben), Jesse Harang (Steph), Tyler Tews (Kelsey), Heather Wynia (Zach) and Brittany Heiken (Jeff); her brother Rev. Roger Russ (Norene); and her close friend Galen Quam. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
