It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna M. Kolbet of Osage, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on November 11, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Rex and Jennie Leota Rex (Bailey); her husband Louis Kolbet; her daughter Susanna Kolbet; her siblings, James Rex and Kathleen Schilling; her grandson Sean Slick; and her son-in-law Dean Folkers.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Kolbet of Alta Vista, Janet Hennigar of Dumont, IA, Wanda Folkers of Alta Vista, Sheila Moritz (Doug) of Osage and Carmela Slick (Loren) of New Hampton; her grandchildren, Keith Hennigar, Derek Hedrick, Andy Folkers, Mark Folkers, Amanda Moritz, Michael Moritz, Steven Slick, Samantha Slick and Shain Slick; her stepgrandchildren, Christine Koch (Dwayne) and Jeremy Moritz; her sisters, Francys Ritter of Mason City, IA and Connie Pitz of Walworth, WI; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Rex of Marble Rock, Lola Boss of Charles City and Lois McAvoy of Elma, IA. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
