She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Dostart and Catherine Dostart (Elgas); her husband Sylvester "Sy" Hemann of Peter's Catholic Church; her children, Marlys Ferry and Gary Lee Hemann; her son-in-law C. Dennis Ferry; and her stepgrandchildren, Austin and Whitney Tjepkes.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Hemann (Nancy) of Parkersburg, Debra Felton (John) of Sioux Falls, Lynn Hemann (Rhonda) of Osage, Douglas Hemann (Crystal) of Grundy Center and Timothy Hemann (Denise) of Marshalltown; and her sisters, Mary Margaret and Irene Hemann (Vince). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
