He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Peter and Dorothy Peter of Story City, Iowa.; and his former wife Connie Strum. He is survived by: his wife Donalyn; his daughter Melissa Curry (Andy); his grandchildren, Kenna and Josie of Elk Point; his children, Ben Peter (Jen), Kaylee, Karly and Khloe of Plainview, Minnesota.; and his sisters, Jerilyn Rasmusson (Terry) of Story City and Doretta Hoffmann (Don) of Story City. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and several nieces and nephews.
