She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Michels and Bertha Michels (Pint); her husband Richard Sonberg; her siblings, Joan Tatone, Margaret Harvey, Jerry, La Verne and William Michels; and her brothers-in-law, Rudy Hackenmiller, Henry Sletten, Art Hemann and Carl Tatone.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Sonberg (Donna) of Osage, Ron Sonberg (Cheryl) of Charles City, Larry Sonberg (Sheila) of Morrison, IL, Jean Valasek (Ron) of Osage and Connie Morische (Vince) of Osage; her grandchildren, Madonna, Shawn, Rhonda, Becky, Cassie, Jodi, Erin, Chris, Cole, Katie, Shelby, Randi, Ailey and Jessie; her sisters, Marcella Hackenmiller of Osage and Darlene Hemann of Osage; and her siblings-in-law, Ken Harvey of Loveland, CO, Sally Michels of Austin, MN, Gloria Michels of Austin, MN and Laura Michels of Fresno, CA. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
