Alice Schmidt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Schmidt (Osage, Iowa), born in Alma Center, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Bredeson and Grace Bredeson (Burlingame); her husband Karl E. Schmidt of Osage, IA.; and her siblings, Edna Burge (Bredeson), Emma Bredeson, Lois Zielsdorf (Bredeson), Joyce Bredeson and Harold Bredeson.

She is survived by: her sons, Gerald Schmidt (Sharon) of Naperville, IL, Michael Schmidt (Cristy) of Burlington, IA and Mark Schmidt (Tracey) of Des Moines, WA; and her grandsons, Nathan Schmidt of Chicago, IL and Anders Schmidt of Des Moines, WA..

For Alice's funeral service the family kindly asks that everyone wear a mask while inside the church building to help protect everyone from COVID-19, including those that currently can't be protected by the vaccine such as children under twelve, and those who are immune suppressed.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations to be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Mitchell County Regional Health Center Auxiliary or the American Cancer Society.
