With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Wagner of Orient, Iowa, who passed away on October 20, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Thurston (Frank) and Gertrude Evangeline Whalen (Goosney); her husband Martin Wagner; her son Francis Wagner; and her son-in-law Everett Eivins.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Eivins of St. Joseph, Mary Gettler (Duane) of Adair, George Wagner (Jan) of LeMars, Charles Wagner of Atlantic and Paula Haglund (David) of Menominee, Michigan; her sister Cleo; her brother-in-law Larry Gipple of Charlotte, N. C.; and her grandchildren, Michael Eivins, Jonathan Eivins (Chris), Brandy Kingery (Paula), Matthew Gettler (Brandy), Michael Gettler, Heather Watson (Tracey), Marcie Stiles (Dan), Melanie Gettler, Joshua Wagner (Laura) and Taylor Haglund. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family and funeral home requests masks must be worn and social distancing to be practiced.
