It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Schelling (Orange City, Iowa), who passed away on January 24, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Schaaf and Harriet Vander Schaaf (Vermeer); her brothers, Jim Schaaf and Wayne Vander Schaaf; and her siblings-in-law, Bud Vander Broek, Ed Zomermaand and Elda Vander Schaaf.
She is survived by: her husband Gilbert; her children, Shirley Den Hoed (Abe) of Hull, IA, Robert Schelling (Sharon) of Sioux Center, IA, Harlan Schelling (Jane) of Orange City, IA, Lois Haan (Enno) of Clarks Grove, MN, Marvin Schelling (Kathy) of Orange City, IA and Karen Kuiken (Bud) of Hartford, SD; her siblings, Milton Vander Schaaf (Joan) of Hardwick, MN, Herlon Vander Schaaf (Joan) of Sioux Center, IA, Henrietta Vander Broek of Orange City, IA, June Driesen (Harold) of Hull, IA, Audrey Van Grouw (Ken) of Remsen, IA, Delbert Vander Schaaf of Orange City, IA, Roger Vander Schaaf (Charlotte) of Lake Wilson, MN, Helen Statema (Don) of Hospers, IA and Arlys Zomermaand of Sioux Center, IA; and her sister-in-law Sharon Vander Schaaf of Sioux Center, IA.. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren.
