She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Herweyer and Johanna Dorothy Herweyer (Rens). She is survived by: her husband Robert Lee Wichers; her daughters, Kim Krull (Kirk Te Grootenhuis) of Alton, Lisa (Dan Majors) of Marysville, Washington, Robyn (Chris Parks) of Marble, Minnesota and Jody (Jason Albers) of Alton; her grandchildren, Savanah Hall, Jesse (Brandon Mars), Tanner Krull, Mallory (Anthony Bacon), Mackenzie Albrecht, Jordyn Albrecht, Isabella Parks, Maria Albers, Greg Albers, Ellie Albers and Deb Herweyer of Northwood; and also James. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and a brother.
Memorials may be directed to the family for the purchasing of books to encourage elementary school students to read.
