She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bruggen and Lena Van Bruggen (Kneubel); and her brothers, Arlyn Van Bruggen and Harold Van Bruggen. She is survived by: her husband George Huizenga; her children, LeAnn (Orval Madden) of Montecito, California and Jay Huizenga (Jane) of Sioux Falls; her granddaughters, Jessica (Matthew Smith) and Megan (Matthew Sage); her great grandchildren, Jacob George Smith, Emmalyn Jane and Everett Matthew Sage; and her siblings, Ted (Eunice Van Bruggen) of Sioux Center and Arlys Feenstra of Orange City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The Huizenga Family requests that memorials be given to the Prairie Ridge Care Center and wishes to thank all of the staff there for the kind, loving, and personal attention George and Jean received during their time at this remarkable facility.
