He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Wynia and Minnie Wynia (Draayer); his siblings, Louis (Hermina Wynia), John (Nelvie Wynia), Wilmina (Edward Wielenga) and Sadie (Gary Van Ravenswaay); and also, Peter L. and Gertrude Wielenga.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Wielenga of Rock Rapids; his children, Sheryl (Paul Pilling) of Marion and Loren (Dawn Wynia) of Orange City; his grandchildren, Karen Pilling of Marion, Nathan Pilling of Bremerton, Washington, Troy Wynia of Sheldon and Brady Wynia of Orange City; his sister Cynthia (Wilson Haarsma) of Jenison, Michigan; and his sister-in-law Geraldine De Jong of Orange City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Orange City Christian School or Unity Christian High School in Orange City.
