He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Otterloo and Adrianna Van Otterloo (Van Otterloo); and his siblings, Albertus "Bud" Van Otterloo, Joyce Rosecamp (Jim), Leon "PeeWee" Van Otterloo, Arlyce Groen (Robert), Norman Van Otterloo and Linda Van Otterloo.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Micah Van Otterloo (Laura), Jordan Van Otterloo (Taylor), Caleb Van Otterloo (Jenelle), Todd Van Otterloo (Allison), Timothy Van Otterloo (Kamie), Emily Van Otterloo, Justin Briese (Stacey), Lynnsey Briese and Kevin Van Otterloo; his sister Audrey Mouw (Jim); his close friend Betty Dykstra; and also, Michael Van Otterloo (Elaine) of LeMars, Kevin Van Otterloo (Linda) of Eagle Grove, Keva Dawn Wolf (Jeff) of Marcus, Steven Van Otterloo (Allison) of LeMars and Fred Dykstra. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
