Janssen of Orange City, Iowa, born in Torrance, California, who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Alvin Abbema; and her grandson Maverick Altmaier. She is survived by: her mother Beverly Van Abbema (De Jong) of Orange City; her husband Paul Henry Janssen of Orange City; her son Austin Janssen (Carissa); her grandchildren, Levi, Ty and Lennon of Dakota Dunes; her child Haley (Greg Altmaier); her grandchildren, Harper of Sioux Falls, Willow of Sioux Falls, Juniper of Sioux Falls and Rivers of Sioux Falls; her children, Mitchell Janssen (Jodi Stahl) of Sioux Falls and Madison Janssen of Lake City; her siblings, Rhonda (Terry Miller) of Monument, Colorado and Steve (Dana Van Abbema) of North Liberty; and her siblings-in-law, David Janssen of Omaha and Barbara (Bruce Shostak) of Merrifield, Minnesota. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Opportunity Living in Lake City, Iowa; an intermediate care facility that is home to Maddy.
