It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Vander Wege of Orange City, Iowa, born in Holland, Michigan, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pieter Wege and Esther Vander Wege (Schipper); his siblings, Roger, Nancy and David (Eleanor); and his brother-in-law John Kleis.
He is survived by: his wife Geri Van Dam; his daughter Linae Hartwig (Randy) of Altoona; his grandchildren, Megan (Wyatt), Zach (Emily), Jeremy, Alex and Taylor (Nathan); his son Brian Vander Wege (Liz) of Holland; his granddaughters, Anna and Lydia; his son Ryan Vander Wege (Kari) of Fort Worth, Texas; and his sister Rosalie Kleis of Holland. He is also survived by seven step-children.
