She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoef and Barbara Ver Hoef (Kaiser); her husband Raymond Earl Van Pelt; her sons, Robert Van Pelt (Frankey Van Pelt) and Ronald Van Pelt; her siblings, Ardis (Robert Bornholdt), Karen Hellinga and Gerald Ver Hoef (Marilyn); and her great great grandchild Ezra Vonk.
She is survived by: her children, Rosemary (Alvin Wissink), Andrew "Bill" Van Pelt (Melinda Olson), Scott (Janet Van Pelt) and Virginia (Gary Vaden); her daughter-in-law Kathy Van Pelt of Spencer; and her grandchildren, Shelly (Mike Vonk), Kristi (Tim Pies), Michael De Raad (Shannon), Chris Van Pelt (Snez), Audrey Van Pelt Kalsow, Victor Van Pelt, Amy (Joel Swanson), Nathan Wissink (Stephanie), Robin (Ernest Parker), Heather (Mike Moran), Josh Huffman (Lindsay), Megan Huffman, Paige Vaden and Ryan Vaden. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be directed to Every Home for Christ International.
