She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" and Dena Huitink (Huisman); her spouse Arie De Smit; and also, Pete, Edna De Smit, Leonard and Tena De Smit.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda De Smit of Orange City; and her nieces and nephews, Carol (Jack Oolman), Leona (Jerry De Boer), Wilson (Marilyn Huitink), Jim (Lorri Huitink), Diane (Marlin Vollink), Harlan (Nelva Huitink), Arnie (Helen De Smit) and Albertha De Jong of Rock Rapids.
Memorials may be directed to the Orange City Christian School.
