We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2019, at the age of 90, Mary L. Wiersma (Orange City, Iowa), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Moere and Elizabeth Vander Moere (Haaksma); her husband Wilbur Wiersma; her niece Carla Wiersma; her sister Martha Stuits; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Wiersma, Ralph Wiersma and Lee Wiersma.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Ruth (Terry Huizingh) of Denver; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Huizingh (Megan), Ryan Huizingh (Sarah) and Devin Huizingh (Maggie); her grandchildren, Paul Wiersma (Joyce) of Summerland and British Columbia; her great grandchildren, Sharon Vos (Kurt), Rachel Peters (Mark) and Daniel Wiersma (Amanda); her grandchildren, Joyce Wiersma of Denver, Colorado and Bruce Wiersma (Mary) of Orange City; her great grandchildren, Angela Aesoph (Dan) and Travis Wiersma; her grandchild Dean Wiersma (Judy) of Fort Collins; her great grandchildren, Andy Wiersma (Jenny), Steve Wiersma (Crystal), Matt Wiersma and Joel Wiersma; her siblings-in-law, Glenn Wiersma of Odessa, Texas and Emilie Wiersma of Denver; and also, Jim and Bea Vander Moere of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; a brother.
