He was predeceased by: his parents, Arie Veld and Rena Int Veld (Brands); his stepfather Arnold De Jong; his brother-in-law Marion Case; and also John Top.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Top; his daughters, Rachael (Greg Knight), Malissa (Mike Eekhoff), Rebecca (Wayne Barahona) and Ashley (Jay Lalk); his grandchildren, Emilee, Jasmine, Daisy, Sadie Knight, Aidan, Lauren, Harper, Ellison Eekhoff, Ava Barahona, Jon, Joe, Joy, Joni, Rayne Lalk and Karter Int Veld; his siblings, Arlen (Sue Int Veld) of Belle Fourche, Geraldine "Gerri", Bertina "Tina" Case of Madison Lake, Minnesota, Henrietta "Hank" Van Beek of Doon and Evelyn; and also, Gary Burmeister of Windom, Minnestoa, Dennis Gundvaldson of Worthing and Albertha De Jong of Hull. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
