It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marvin De Jong of Orange City, Iowa, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter S. Jong and Tracy De Jong (Faber); his siblings, Peter S. De Jong, Samuel De Jong, Raymond De Jong, Julius De Jong, Marion De Jong and Rena Kloosterman; and also, John Kuiper and Fritz Haarsma.
He is survived by: his wife Delores June Kuiper; his children, Clarine (Doug Koedam) of Lone Tree, Donna (Gilbert Dykstra) of Honey Creek and Marvin Del of Sioux Center; his grandchildren, Angie (Chuck Miller), Amy (Whitney Hartman), Jeremy Koedam, Jessica (Jordon Cave), Seth Dykstra (Laura), David Dykstra (Ruth), Michael Dykstra (Elizabeth), Rebecca (Micah Swab), Joseph Dykstra, Levi Dykstra (Hannah), Daniel Dykstra and Nathanael Dykstra; and his siblings, Wilbur De Jong of Orange City, Arlene Menninga of Bullhead City, Arizona and Rose Te Grotenhuis of Orange City. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Orange City Christian School and the Luke Society.
