She was predeceased by: her parents, Sipka Dorhout and Johanna Dorhout (Weijer); her husbands, Karl Vander Plas and Henry Goslinga; her son Kenneth Vander Plas; her great great grandchild Kenneth Lee Blankers; her stepchildren, Sue Breems and Gene Katzenberger; and her siblings, Pete, Sam, Dick, George, Clarence Dorhout, Gertrude Van Zanten, Ella Hoekman and Mary Van Kley.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Kooi (Elmer); her daughter-in-law Theresa Vander Plas; her grandchildren, Brenda Blankers (James), Julie Vander Plas (Dennis), Mary Karli (Tom), Karl Vander Plas (Milani), Bradley Vander Plas (Nora), Kristi (Randy), Shonna Caswell (Jeff), Bryan Kooi (Natasha) and Tanya Kooi Janelle Kooi (Chris Morphew); and her stepchildren, Donna Holmgren (Gary), Jan Katzenberger, Dave Breems, Karen Cook (Ben) and Tim Goslinga (Dawn). She is also survived by 38 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in Martha's name to a Christian School of your choice.
