With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlys M. Rowenhorst (Orange City, Iowa), born in Hull, Iowa, who passed away on September 21, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Harold; her husband Willard Dean Rowenhorst; her parents-in-law, Henry and Kathryn Rowenhorst; her granddaughter Hannah Rae Guthmiller; and her brother-in-law Merlyn Rowenhorst.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roma (Bob Visser) and Tami (Marty Guthmiller); her grandchildren, Whitney Westphal (Scott) of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Ben Visser of Ames, Jameson Guthmiller (Nicole) of Orange City, Brett Guthmiller (Elizabeth) of Des Moines and Casey Guthmiller of Orange City; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Elijah, Isaac Westphal, Eli, Hudson, Maddie Guthmiller and Will Guthmiller; her siblings, Evelyn Jones, Harvey Bolks (Annabel) and Lauren Bolks (Hester); and her siblings-in-law, Marie Rowenhorst and Don Rowenhorst (Sylvia).
