Margaret J. Fernow Obituary
In loving memory of Margaret J. Fernow of Orange City, Iowa, who departed this world on December 29, 2024 at the age of 80. Margaret leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Taylor and Freida Taylor (Johnston); her brothers, Alex Taylor and Jim Taylor; and also, Harold, Helen Fernow and Dale Fernow.
She is survived by: her husband Allen C. Fernow of Orange City; her children, James Fernow (Karlene) of Stafford, Virginia, Jane (David Sallee) of Marion, Mary Fernow of Orange City and Mark Fernow-Glasco (Keith) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; her grandchildren, Ashley (Kyle Lieske) of Alberta, Canada, Allen Fernow (Christina) of Milford, Massachusetts, Taylor Fernow of Midlothian, Virginia, Zachary Fernow of Stafford, Virginia and Spencer Sallee of Cedar Rapids; her great grandchildren, Lawson and Jayton Lieske; and her sister-in-law Sally Taylor. She is also survived by three nephews; and two nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the American Reformed Church (407 Albany Ave SE, Orange City, IA 51041). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials will be given to the Orange City Area Home Health and Hospice and the American Reformed Church.
