Wierda of Orange City, Iowa, born in Alton, Iowa, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Arend and Martha Kleinhesselink (Smit); her spouse Thomas Wierda; her parents-in-law, Martin and Rena Wierda; her brother Eugene Kleinhesselink; her brother-in-law Clarence Kiel; and also, Martha (John Van Roekel), Jane Eva (Peter Duits), Marv Wierda (Lorraine), Lewis Wierda (Lucille), George Bakker (Iona), Delia (Henry Franken), Henrietta (Bill Parsonson), Ray Wierda and Bernard Wierda.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Wierda of Orange City and Jerry Wierda (Kathy) of Orange City; her granddaughter Allyson (Greg Schlichte) of Bloomington, Minnesota; and her sisters-in-law, Agnes Kleinhesselink of Hixson, Tennessee, Myrtle Kiel of Orange City, Freeda Wierda of Sioux Center and Peggy Wierda of Arkansas.
Memorials may be directed to the June E. Nylan Cancer Center in Sioux City.
