It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Hoffman of Orange City, Iowa, who passed away on August 9, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurit Kelsey and Mayme Chapman (Grant); her husband Phillip John Hoffman; her daughter-in-law Margret "Mitzi" Hoffman; and her siblings, Robert Chapman (Agnes), Kay (Harry Mower), Roland Chapman (Ann) and Gerald Chapman.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Curtis Brown) of Loudon, Tennessee, William C. Hoffman (Margarita) of Lancaster California, Elaine (Michael Klein, Sr.) of Sioux City, Phillip Hoffman, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, Robert S. Hoffman of Alton, Debra (Cliff Morren) of Bennington, Nebraska, Janet Hoffman of Omaha and Susan Hoffman (Marcia) of St. Petersburg, Florida; her grandchildren, Mark Brown (Jen), Michelle (Bryant Nelson), Cynthia (Tony Lamecker), Jason Hoffman (Shannon), Cindy (Mark Gavin), Michael Klein, Jr. (Allison), Andrew Klein (Hilary), Thomas Hoffman, Katie Hoffman, Megan Hoffman, Amanda (Rob Steenholdt), Sarah (Jason Tabor), Adrian (Taylor Phillips) and Corey Young (Jill); and her sister-in-law Vernell Chapman of Le Mars. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren.
