It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Verle Quaintance of Orange City, Iowa, born in Bushnell, Nebraska, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland L. Quaintance and Lucy Quaintance (Medley); his siblings, Stanley, Ronnie, Laythol, Kenneth Quaintance and Ladean Tokle; his daughter Patricia Arends; and his granddaughter Ella Rae.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Mae Christopherson of Melvin, Iowa; his children, Mike Quaintance of Pine, Bonnie Hudson (Doug) of Anthony, Suzanne Kloberdanz (Hal) of Trenton, Georgia, Connie Johnson (Whitey) of Melvin, Tom Quaintance (Lori) of Van Buren and Robert Quaintance of Orange City, Iowa; and his sister Leatha Kulm. He is also survived by Twin Falls, Idaho; other relatives and friends.
