She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Wierda and Lucille Wierda (Kleinhesselink). She is survived by: her brother Jerry (Kathy Wierda) of Orange City; and her niece Allyson (Greg Schlichte) of Bloomington, Minnesota..

Memorials will be given to the June E. Nylen Cancer Center in Sioux City.
