Joyce Hulst Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Hulst of Orange City, Iowa, who passed away on March 4, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gelder and Jennie Van Gelder (Feenstra); her former husband John A. Te Brink; her husband Nicholas R. Hulst; her sister Irene (Benjamin Schiebout); her brother-in-law Gordon Van Wyhe; and also, Dorothy Jacobsma, Amy Van Engen, Bernice Mellema and Dick Te Brink.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel (Terry Meekma), Barbara (Marty Hodgen), Elaine (Mike Van Otterloo) and Jeff (Mikkel Te Brink); her stepchildren, Ronald Hulst (Linda) of Cassville, Wisconsin, Victoria Gregson of Tucson, Arizona, Mark Hulst (Kay) of Orange City and Lisa Bailey of Ventura, California; her siblings, Kathy Van Wyhe of Ireton, John (Thelma Van Gelder) of Orange City and Alfred (Jean Te Brink) of Denver, Colorado; and also Lois Te Brink of Orange City. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, twelve step-grandchildren; 22 step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be given to the Orange City Christian School.
