He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cooper and Persis Mae Cooper (Vander Stryk); his daughter Michelle; his brothers-in-law, Robert Arnold and Jim Peck; and also, Charles, Anna Dykstra, Wilma (Simon De Boer), James Dykstra, Gary Dykstra (Julia), Jessie (Walt Vander Plaats), Dick Dykstra, Don Dykstra (Shareene) and John Holtrop.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Dykstra of Orange City; his children, Marc Cooper of Gardner, Kansas and Mindi (Jason Sneller) of Orange City; his grandchildren, Keri (Brandon Hall), Kayla Sneller, Kelton Schulz (Meghan), Landon Vahle and Brecken Sneller; his great grandchildren, Donovan and Patrick; his sisters, Kaye Arnold of Central Lake, Michigan and Millie Peck of East Jordan, Michigan; and also, Henry Dykstra (Joyce) of Orange City, Hilda Holtrop of Sheldon, Florence Dykstra of Hospers and Elizabeth Dykstra of Orange City.
