We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2022, at the age of 84, Helen M. Huisman of Orange City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Es and Jennie Van Es (Oldenkamp); her son-in-law Cris Putnam; her brothers, Jonathan (Geraldine Van Es), Harvey (Johanna Van Es), Arnold (Angeline Van Es), Gerard (Gloria Van Es) and Wilbur (Joyce Van Es); her brother-in-law Hallard De Jong; and also, William Huisman, Etta Van Steenwyk, Gerrit Huisman, Hildred Pluim Vande Berg and Stanley Huisman.

She is survived by: her husband Marve of Orange City; her children, Clarke (Cindy Huisman) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Michelle Putnam of Raleigh; her grandson Christian Huisman of Little Rock; her sister Shirley De Jong of Orange City; and her brother-in-law Ken Huisman of Orange City.

Memorials will be given to Hope Haven in Rock Valley and Northwestern College in Orange City.
