It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey J. De Boer (Orange City, Iowa), who passed away on February 3, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose De Boer (Van Dyke) and William Vreeman; his brother Cliff (Bernice De Boer); his brother-in-law Henry Van Der Linden; and his brothers, Gerrit, Howard and Kenneth Vreeman.
He is survived by: his former wife Delores Carol Vreeman; his children, Carla Drost of Sheldon, Paula (Martin Top) of Alton, Harlan De Boer (Michele) of Pella, Denise Tifft of Sioux Falls, James De Boer (Shelly) of Yankton and Darrell De Boer (Jody) of Smithville, Missouri; his wife Bernice De Boer of Orange City; his sister Lucille Van Der Linden of Luverne, Minnesota.; and his parent-in-law Sena Vreeman. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; a brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Orange City Area Home Health and Hospice or the Orange City Christian School.
