With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace Oldenkamp of Orange City, Iowa, born in Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on January 21, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Lockhorst, and Christina Lockhorst, Sr. (Weyers); her sister Adrianna; her siblings-in-law, Leslie Webert and Darold Bultman; her siblings, Peter Lockhorst, Jr. (Priscilla), Jeanette (Fred Boogerd), Dorothy Hulshof and Paul Lockhorst (Geri); and her sister-in-law Gladys Korver.
She is survived by: her husband Herm of Orange City; her children, Barb (Rob Van Horn) of Orange City, Dale Oldenkamp (Sara) of Slater and Pam (Bryan Shadrix) of Douglasville, Georgia; her grandson Alex Van Horn of Orange City; her children, Jake Oldenkamp of Slater, Josie Oldenkamp of Slater, Brandon Shadrix (Dakota) of Douglasville, Noah Shadrix of Douglasville and Chloe Shadrix of Douglasville; her siblings, Don Lockhorst (Deanna) of Ireton and Chris (Garold Cleveringa) of Sioux Center; her brothers-in-law, Melvin Hulshof of Hawarden, Casey Korver of Orange City and Ken Oldenkamp (Mary) of Alton; and her nieces, Charlotte Lockhorst and Lisa Korver. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to the Prairie Ridge Care Center.
