With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gladys M. Jeltema of Orange City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Vries and Dena De Vries (Kleinhesselink); her husband Peter Dean Jeltema; and her siblings, Joyce Te Slaa and Stanley De Vries.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Jeltema (Pam) of Orange City and Leanne Vis (Jeremy) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Riley Jeltema (Dana) of Orange City, Jordyn Jeltema of Orange City, Cullen of Sioux Falls and Larkin Vis of Sioux Falls; her great grandchild Parker Grace Jeltema of Orange City; her brothers, Darwin De Vries (Mary) of Orange City and Glenn De Vries (Yvonne) of Newkirk; and her brother-in-law Cleo Te Slaa of Sheldon. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Memorials will be given to Orange City Area Home Health and Hospice or the Orange City Food Pantry.
