It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George B. Kooinga (Orange City, Iowa), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Duward Kooinga and Helen Kooinga (Drenth); his wife Marcia; his children, Todd Kooinga of Orange City, Kristin (Doug Vander Noord) of Bradenton, Florida and Patti (Brent De Haan) of Orange City; his grandchildren, Jessica Vander Noord, Alanna Vander Noord, Aby (Luke Sikma), Caleb De Haan (Paige), Grace De Haan and Lily De Haan; and his brother Duward (Eleanor Kooinga) of Valparaiso, Indiana.. He was also cherished by friends and their wives.
