Elizabeth Dykstra Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Dykstra of Orange City, Iowa, who passed away on February 16, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lammers and Gertie Lammers (Van Veldhuizen); her husband James Dykstra; her grandson Justin Boogerd; her siblings, Hermina (Max McGinnis), William (Lucille Lammers) and Gerrit (Karen Lammers); her brother-in-law Norman Menning; and also, Gerrit Dykstra (Julia), Dick Dykstra, Don Dykstra (Sharene), Wilma (Simon De Boer), Jessie (Walt Vander Plaats), Herman Cooper and John Holtrop.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Dykstra (Chris) of Orange City, Kathy (Wes Boogerd) of Hull, Lorie (Tim Dietschy) of Orange City and Mark Dykstra of Orange City; her sister Fannie Menning of Sioux Center; and also, Henry Dykstra (Joyce) of Orange City, Hilda Holtrop of Sheldon, Betty Cooper of Orange City and Florence Dykstra of Sheldon. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be given to Hope Haven Wheelchair Ministries.
