She was predeceased by: her parents, Arie Bloemendaal and Helen Bloemendaal (Smit); her brother Larry Bloemendaal; her stepmother Matilda Ter Horst; and her siblings-in-law, Elsie Bloemendaal (Cleveringa) and Ralph Menning.
She is survived by: her husband Alden Menning; her children, David (Cindy Menning), Bruce (Cathy Menning) and Kaye (Kirt Bennett); her grandchildren, Susan Nelson (Dan) of Nashville, Tennessee, Tom Menning (Sydney) of Fox Lake, Illinois, Lea Nelson (Jim) of Bloomington, Ashley Menning of Stamford, Connecticut, Spencer Bennett and Elijah Bennett of Punta Gorda; her great grandchildren, Avery, Romey Nelson of Nashville, Riley, Leighton, Margot, Lucy Menning of Fox Lake and Evelyn Nelson of Bloomington; her sisters, Barb (Al Top) and Ardis (Brad Van Rooyan); and her siblings-in-law, Alice Bloemendaal of Alton and Dr. Arnold (Thelma Menning) of Mesa, Arizona..
