He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry W. Verdoorn and Dena Roos Verdoorn; his sister Shirley Vande Hoef; and his parents-in-law, Ivan and Dorothy Timmons.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Timmons Verdoorn; his daughter Susan Sachse (Tom) of Overland Park, KS; his grandson Scott Sachse (Katie); his great grandchildren, Henry and Gus of Leawood, KS; his grandchildren, Jack Sachse (Lauren Bonds) and Nichole Immeker (Chris) of Orange City; his great grandchildren, Colby, Maya and Eva; his granddaughter Amy Kleinhesselink (Riley) of Orange City; his great grandchildren, Payton, Kate and Hudson; his grandson Alex Verdoorn of Indianapolis, IN; his daughter Kathy Van Berkum (Terry) of Rock Rapids; his grandson Sean Van Berkum (Cassie) of Rock Rapids; his great grandchildren, Dylann, Kayden, Jayce, Kyra and Raylynn; his grandson Nick Van Berkum (Shandra) of Ames; his great grandchild Rosco; his granddaughter Abbey De Groot (Derek) of Hinton; and his great grandchildren, Karver, Daxton and Emersyn.
