She was predeceased by: her parents, Garrett Aalberts and Janet Aalberts (Van Veldhuizen); her daughter Jane De Zeeuw; her siblings, Jean Vande Brake (William), Erwin Aalberts (Willie), Kenneth Aalberts (Lorraine) and John Aalberts (Donna); and her brothers-in-law, Alvin Bomgaars, Rudy Grienke, Henry Vander Zwaag, Glenn Vander Zwaag and Clifford Van Schepen (Judith).
She is survived by: her husband Claude Vander Zwaag of Orange City; her daughters, Susan (Neil Krogman), Nancy (David Dau) and Mary (Marc Kuiper); her son-in-law Steve (Elizabeth De Zeeuw) of Prairie Village, Kansas; her grandchildren, Breanne Van De (Aaron), Megan Altmann (Jordan), Drew Dau, Amy Krogman (Ryan Danczak), Adam Dau, Alex Dau (Taylor), Anna Bureau (Chad), Emma Allen (Chase), Ben Kuiper (Mary Cameron) and Elizabeth Kuiper; her sisters, Arlene Bomgaars of Orange City and Bev Grienke of Orange City; and her sisters-in-law, Harriet Vander Zwaag of Sioux Center and Gail Vander Zwaag of Spirit Lake. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be given to Lakes Regional Healthcare Hospice, Samaritan's Purse, and Gideons International.
