She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dering and Joyce Dering (Vander Lee); her husband David Wayne De Jong; and her sister Margaret Beasley. She is survived by: her sons, Daniel De Jong of Hospers, Luke De Jong (Susan) of Orange City, Caleb De Jong of Orange City and Seth De Jong (Caitlin) of Orange City; her granddaughters, Mary Ellen, Joanna Grace and Lydia Alyce; her brother Gary (Zoey Dering) of Gig Harbor, Washington; her brother-in-law Robert (Bea Beasley) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her siblings, Connie (Gordon Zonnefeld), Robert (Carla De Jong) and Daryl (Lori De Jong); and also, Frank and Wyllean De Jong of Hospers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
