Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Arthur Van Riesen of Orange City, Iowa, born in Sheldon, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 76, on November 21, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wessel Riesen and Margaret Van Riesen (Bomgaars); and his brothers, Merril Van Riesen and Alvin Van Riesen. He is survived by: his wife Adriana "Tootie" De Hoog; his sons, Michael (Janelle Van Riesen) and Matthew (Sheila Van Riesen); his grandchildren, Collin Faber (Jennifer), Justin Faber (Josie), Brady Faber (Alyssa De Jong), Michaela (Tim Aulner), Jacob Van Riesen, Adriana Van Riesen, Grace Van Riesen, Logan Van Riesen and Aliesha Van Riesen; his great grandchild Emersyn Faber; and his siblings, Evelyn (Peter Kroese) of Sanborn, Henrietta (Raymond Schnurr) of Sanborn, Mary Abels of Orange City, Dorothy (Herman Schwarz) of Sheldon, Dean (Kelly Van Riesen) and Marvin (Deanna Van Riesen). He is also survived by his wife of more than 53 years; a daughter.
All those in attendance will be asked to use face coverings and to be mindful of social distancing practices.
