Ardell Hegstad Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2022, at the age of 92, Ardell Hegstad of Orange City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Pederson and Agnes Pederson (Moe); her husband Glen; her sister Eleanor (Purdin Dahl); her brothers-in-law, Kenneth Hogfoss and Philip (Ethel Hegstad); and also, Gladys, Stephen Jastrzebski, Rebecca, Toivo Maki, Lettie and Bill Greenfield.
She is survived by: her children, Christine (Jerry Dykstra) of Orange City, Gary Hegstad (Julie) of Lennox and Renee (Jeff Guthmiller) of Orange City; her grandchildren, John Dykstra (Kim), Michael Dykstra (Lynnae), Nathan Dykstra (Danielle), Joshua Dykstra (Mindy), Bethany Swart (Tim), Grant Hegstad (Jen), Emily Fischer (Nate), Greg Hegstad (Carly), Sean Guthmiller (Abby) and Jennifer Plegge (Derek); and her siblings, Norma Hogfoss of Portland and Ted (Arlene Pederson) of Cheyenne, Wyoming. She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren.
