It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Verdoorn of Orange City, Iowa, who passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Anthony and Gertrude Verdoorn (Vischer); his son-in-law Virgil Haverdink; and his siblings, Dick, Jake, Joe, Henry, Ann, Fannie, Marie, John, Cornelius, Gertrude, William and Bert.
He is survived by: his former wife Anna Huisman; his wife Ann of Orange City; his daughters, Audrey Ann Haverdink of Ankeny and Arla Beth Stover of Spirit Lake; his grandchildren, Michael (Natalie Haverdink), Michelle (Bob Goodrich), Marlon (Cora Haverdink), Brandon (Andrea Highstreet), Kylie (Damon Jackson) and Shyla (John Christensen); and his great grandchildren, Jared, Noah, Luke Haverdink, Shelby, Grant Goodrich, Emily, Andrew, Rachel Haverdink, Sidney Peterson, Peyton Jackson, Jayda and Ayden Christensen.
