He was predeceased by: his wife June Carolyn Vander Vliet; his parents-in-law, Nicholas and Dorothy Vander Vliet; his siblings, LeRoy Woudstra and Sally De Groot; his siblings-in-law, John De Groot, Dick Veltkamp, Gary Kroeze, Bernie Vande Griend, Percy Vander Tuig and Ruth Eckhardt; and his nephew Ronald Kroeze.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Woudstra (Robin Sparpana), William Woudstra (Laura), Carolyn Leusink (David), Judith Armstrong (Matthew) and Mary Kohout (Robert); his sisters, Silvia Veltkamp, Marilyn Kroeze and Joyce Vande Griend; and his siblings-in-law, Vernell Kuiper, Doreen Potter (Gordon), Linda Herrema (Arch) and Robert Eckhardt. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Orange City Christian School.
