He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis West and Ruth West (Tharp); and his siblings, Nancy, Jean, Ruth, Velma, Mary Ellen, Hank, Bill, Bob and Roy Lee (Doris).
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jess; his daughters, Cheryl Haker (Craig) of Anamosa and Lori West of Monmouth; his grandchildren, Race, Kase (Maria) and Chase; his great grandchildren, Josephine and Milo Haker; his sister-in-law Elgene West; and his nephew Randy West.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dawson Funeral Services (106 Green St, Wyoming, IA 52362). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wyoming Methodist Church (107 N Washington St, Wyoming, IA 52362).
